Mi account service provided by Xiaomi Inc. China. If you want to use Xiaomi services like syncing data with Mi Cloud, your phone finder service, phone lock, their flash sales offers, Mi F codes, Mi games, Mi themes etc.

Then you must have a Mi account. Normally you can understand that in a normal android you must need a Gmail account same procedure in Mi mobiles you should have a Mi account in order to use their services.

So, this time we will discuss the problem how to remove Mi account Xiaomi machine Qualcomm chipset.


To delete the account of the Xiaomi Mi Qualcomm chipset, we use the following ways:
- Port / extract file "persist.img" in the computer Xiaomi machine

-f  Flash programmer to load to IMEM eg MPRG8960.hex
-i  Single image to load at offset 0 eg 8960_msimage.mbn
-t Run performance tests
-b   Write  to GPT 
-g GPP1 GPP2 GPP3 GPP4 Create GPP partitions with sizes in MB
-gq Do not prompt when creating GPP (quiet)
-r Reset device
-ffu <*.ffu> Download FFU image to device in emergency download need -o and -p
-splitffu <*.ffu> -o  Split FFU into binary chunks and create rawprogram0.xml to output location
-protocol  Can be FIREHOSE, STREAMING default is FIREHOSE
-chipset  Can be 8960 or 8974 familes
-gpt Dump the GPT from the connected device
-raw Send and receive RAW data to serial port 0x75 0x25 0x10
-verbose Enable verbose output

The steps are as follows:

1. Switch the phone to the mode EDL:

2. Next run emmcdl:

emmcdl.exe -l

- After you have found the port, you run the following command to port/dump file "persist.img" on computer

emmcdl -p COM * -f prog_emmc * .mbn -d persist -o persist.imb

Note:
  • For example, if the com port is 10, replace COM* -> COM 10

3. Run the software hex editor, load the file "persist.img", find the "ownUser" find the hax value of this field (in this case, the value of this field is: "161659...")-> instead of the hex value this with the value of 00: 31 36 31 36 35 39 31 30 37 38 --> 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 -> then saved

4. The next step is a reverse port file "persist.img" Xiaomi on the computer, type the following command

emmcdl -p COM * -f prog_emmc * .mbn -b persist persist.img

Note: remember to replace the value of the two fields in order: COM * , prog_emmc*.mbn
